World at War was released on November 8h, 2008 and the last major Call of Duty game to feature the Second World War for almost 9 years. It was also the last major Call of Duty until Modern Warfare 2019 to feature vehicles in a major fashion (aside from minor appearances in Black Ops 3 and WW2). WAW is also the second major COD released since the start of the multiplayer era and the 5th mainline title ever released. WAW is apart of the Black Ops canon and Warzone canon respectively after the integration of the Black Ops timeline with Modern Warfare 2019's.
