DTC Chrysler B146A-11 Short Explanation
The video focuses on the basic Chrysler specific diagnostic error code. Contents: 0:21 Basic DTC analysis according to OBD2 protocol standard. 1:48 Insight into programming - an explanation of what a bit is and how a byte is formed - decoding the Error Code to the base programming 2:58 A diagnostically understandable description of the Diagnostic Trouble Code 3:05 Basic error definition - Possible causes or errors of the car and its parts describing the mentioned error We will continue to work on improving the content. Our efforts at Maxidot s.r.o.the video content gets better. #maxidot #dtc #howto #diagnostictroublecode #chrysler Make: Chrysler Code: B146A 11 Definition: Antilock Brake System (ABS) or Traction Control System (TCS) Brake Switch Circuit Description: The ignition is ON.The ignition voltage is greater than 8 V.The vehicle speed is greater than 16 km or h (10 mph). Cause: Any of the following conditions may cause the DTC to set:Voltage on the TCC brake switch signal circuit is always low.Voltage on the TCC brake switch signal circuit is always high. The brake pedal is sensed as applied during moderate to high vehicle acceleration. With the vehicle decelerating, the brake pedal is sensed as released and the master cylinder pressure is greater than 90 psi. Failure Type: Circuit Short To Ground This sub type is used for failures, where the control module measures ground (battery negative) potential for greater than a specified time period or when some other value is expected.
