In this film; General Joseph Gallieni walks toward camera; with several other men - heavy; balding man on left looks familiar - 2 dressed in white coats; don't know what they are but they look like cooks! Also Italian military officers; various others. CU Gen. G. shakes hands with a few people; salutes. They seem to be in the grounds of a large house or building. American cataloguer notes: "Gallieni was a long-time French Army man; best known for his contribution to the victory at the Marne; while he was Military Governor of Paris; including his idea to send reserves from Paris out in taxicabs & other automobiles - the Taxis of the Marne.
