Well this is a boring project I'm sure no one is going to remember a day from now....it must be the song after listening to it over and over again its putting me to sleep. It was cute in Pete's Dragon though. ^_^ This project was somewhat of a test. I upgraded to Vegas Pro 14 today (Which was just released this week btw!) so I had to be sure everything transitioned - Projects started in Pro 12 and NewBlue FX - before opening them all up in 14. In other words this was the most expendable project or one I'd be least heartbroken about if it got corrupted and lost. Relieved to say for the most part the transition went very smoothly with few issues. There are a couple extra miss-timed black flashes that rendered in that shouldn't be there you'll probably notice but thats nothing compared to the pixelated glitch I would sometimes have before. Plus I have ALL my effects! I love having my own legit copies of Vegas forever now, ahehe. (Plus some other perks ;) I think the best part so far of Vegas 14 is ya no longer have to manually disable the re-sampling on every single clip, its now a setting you can shut off, permanently. That got old doing pretty fast. I started this project the day after I saw Pete's Dragon when it came out but quickly burned out on it. However, I didn't want to leave it unfinished after making over half of it so I tried it in 14 and finished it today. This song and Pete's Dragon in general took me back to the origins of HTTYD1, which is my favorite still with Viking's and Dragons as enemies and the innocence between Hiccup and Toothless's budding friendship. This project really just focuses on the first part, for a change. I better update about that little vent I had a week ago because I got an overwhelming amount of supportive comments from it that I honestly was not expecting. And let me just say a quick thank you to you for caring and trying to lift me up. It did and I appreciated everything *hugs* I'm doing much better now that I made it to a normal weekend, and been able to chill/sleep in/rest, all that good stuff. The best news is, I FOUND ZOEY, our kitty!! Our prayers were answered! (And Thank YOU again for that btw ;) It was a miracle in the midst of my madness; we were sure he was a goner. I found him at 10:30 pm Sunday night while I was driving to my job and there he was walking in circles (Remember he's blind.) in the middle of the road, in my headlights....I'm just thankful I didn't hit him! Whew... and there wasn't a scratch on him! For a guy who hadn't eaten in 4 days he sure was feisty too. Were very happy to have him back and in one piece. =) I think I'm gonna go see Storks Monday evening to sorta celebrate. I could still use some good animated laughs.
