The Garfield Movie 2004 - You've Got a Friend - Javine

The Garfield 2004 movie edit of the song You've Got a Friend by Javine, a cover and remix of James Taylor's original You've Got a Friend. This song was featured in the credits of the UK and European editions of The Garfield Movie from 2004, created by 20th Century Fox and the Davis Entertainment Company, based on the comic strip character and franchise of the same name made by Jim Davis. The film was released on June 11th 2004, with a budget of 50 million USD, and was released to mixed reviews by well-known movie review groups such as Rotten Tomatoes. The film gained 203.2 million USD during the movie's early release years. The film starts with Bill Murray voice acting the orange fat feline Garfield (who was being animated in CGI animation,) with Breckin Meyer acting as Garfield's owner Jon, and Jennifer Love Hewitt as Liz (The main veterinarian of the comic strips and Jon's love interest.) The movie was released on DVD and VHS on October 19th, 2004, possibly worldwide. The film gained a sequel on June 16th, 2006 named Garfield: A Tail of Two Kittens, and a non-canonically 3D animated movie in 2009 named Garfield Gets Real, the same year both the 3D animated show (called The Garfield Show) came out and the license 20th Century Fox had to Paws Inc. becoming expired.
