Rule the Waves 2 Building the Kaiser's Fleet 1900 16 - Fighting the Russians... again!
I forgot to adjust the streaming software the the correct microphone so the first 40 minutes were mute and we thus start in the middle of a battle at the moment where I realized my mistake. We are at war with the Russians.... again... Rule the Waves 2 is a naval strategy game where you play both someone like Jacky Fisher and John Jellicoe. So you both design and build your fleet as well as command it in battle. We play Imperial Germany with the game starting in 1900. Our goal is to play somewhat close to realistic with designing ships in a way Alfred von Tirpitz has, so "the first mission of a ship is to swim". Thus we won't sacrifice armor for speed or firepower but we still aim for individual superiority. We play like the Kaiser asks for two full squadrons of battleships, so 12 BBs, but our goal is to have those squadrons, another one with battle cruisers and another one with 2nd and 3rd rate BBs in reserve after they had been replaced by newer models.
